Artist and arts administrator Allan Edmunds majored in Printmaking at Temple University’s Tyler School of Art, where he earned his B.F.A in 1971 and M.F.A in 1975. He has taught high school and college level classes for over 23 years, including Visiting Artist Residencies and lectures. His artistic awards and honors include Artists Fellowships from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Council on the Arts and National Endowment for the Arts, Research Fellow, South Glamorgan Institute for the Arts, Cardiff Art School. International Arts Management Excellence Award, and Drexel University Forum. He is the founder and current President/ Executive Director of Brandywine Workshop in Philadelphia, PA, a not for profit arts institution serving serious artists and students from culturally diverse backgrounds.
