Founded in 1996, the Experimental Printmaking Institute is dedicated to bringing students and professionals together through exploration in print.
The not-for-profit EPI supports both renowned artists and novice artists with their work while also offering art students the chance to work with these visiting artists. EPI is unique in supplying the opportunity for a mentor-student relationship between the artist and student. Not only does EPI provide the print studio for the artist to work in, but we also provide them housing during their stay. In its mission to raise awareness about print, EPI organizes and sponsors national and international exhibitions. These exhibits and residences have inspired print editions, artists books, and experimental works.
